Addressing the gathering, Tewari said his goal was to ensure holistic development of his Lok Sabha constituency and he had been regularly allocating funds for various public welfare projects.

He added that the CCTV cameras will help keep a close watch on anti-social elements and improve safety in the area. He reaffirmed his commitment to making Chandigarh “City Beautiful” once again and to resolving long-pending public issues.

Chandigarh Congress president HS Lucky appreciated Tewari’s efforts, saying his proactive approach toward the city’s development reflects the public-oriented policies of the party.
