The municipal corporations of Chandigarh and Panchkula officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under the “Clean city pairing” initiative. In this partnership, Chandigarh will mentor Panchkula with an aim to bring measurable improvements in Panchkula’s sanitation and solid waste management systems within 100 days.

Panchkula Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal and Municipal Commissioner RK Singh said the MoU targets 10 key cleanliness parameters, ranging from waste management to citizen participation.
