Chandigarh reported 14 new cases but no fatalities in the last 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Monday.

Chandigarh now has 100 active cases with a positivity rate of over the last seven days, the bulletin said.

Chandigarh’s been recording a steady rise in Covid cases since last week—the UT’s recorded 58 new cases since Thursday. It also recorded its first death in two months on Sunday.

Chandigarh’s fatality count since the pandemic began almost two years ago stands at 1,078.

The bulletin showed 1,084 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
