Chandigarh reported 164 new Covid-19 cases—the lowest the union territory has seen in over a month—in the last 24 hours, a new health bulletin by the UT’s health department showed on Saturday.

Five more deaths took the fatality count to 740, the bulletin said. Some 3,076 samples were tested over the last 24 hours.

Chandigarh now has 2,466 active cases, the bulletin said.
