Chandigarh: Chandigarh on Friday reported 19 cases, taking the tally to 21,203. The death toll stands at 344. As many as 20,717 patients have recovered and 142 cases are still active. On Friday, 2,876 people were registered for taking the Covid-19 vaccine. Of these, only 643 were inoculated. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
