Chandigarh reports 2 new Covid-19 cases

Chandigarh, August 16
Chandigarh on Monday reported two new cases of Covid-19 to take the total case tally to 62,031.
A total of three patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.
The number of active cases is 43 while the death toll remains 811.
As many as 1628 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and a positivity rate of 0.12 per cent was recorded.
The number of cured patients till date is 61,177.
As many as 7,45,623 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Chandigarh while 2,51,721 people have got both the doses.
