Chandigarh reports 200 new cases of Covid-19

Chandigarh on Thursday reported 200 new cases of Covid-19 taking the total number of active cases in the city to 3,129.

As many as six people succumbed to the infection during the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 729.

The total number of cases in the city has reached 59,416 of which 55,558 people have been cured till date.

A total of 2,640 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
