Chandigarh reports 3 new cases of Covid-19

Chandigarh on Wednesday reported three new infections of Covid-19 as the total number of cases reached 65,138.

A positivity rate of 0.13 per cent was recorded as 2,244 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The death toll in the city remains 815.

The total number of active cases is 31 while 64,292 people have been cured till date.

A total of 17 patients have been discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
