Chandigarh reported three new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a health bulletin from the Union Territory’s administration said on Sunday.

The UT’s active Covid-19 cases now stand at 33, and the average positivity rate over seven days is 0.25 per cent.

Some 1,293 samples were tested over the last 24 hours, the bulletin said. The UT’s reported no new Covid-19 deaths since July 5. The fatality count stands at 809.

 The bulletin also showed four people had recovered and were released from hospitals and home isolation over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7,09,180 people over 18 have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. Of this number, 1,71,260 are fully vaccinated.
