Chandigarh reports 50 new Covid-19 cases, three deaths

Chandigarh, June 12

Chandigarh reported 58 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths, a health bulletin from the administration said on Saturday.

The union territory has 540 active cases. The bulletin showed 2,408 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours.

The UT also recorded 79 recoveries.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
