Chandigarh: The city on Thursday reported 78 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the UT overall tally to 22,040. The toll remained 355. A total of 36 patients recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. The total number of recoveries stands at 21,140. —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
