Chandigarh reports 8 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Chandigarh, July 11
Chandigarh reported eight new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Sunday.
The union territory’s active cases now stand at 96, the bulletin said. Some 1,663 samples were tested over the last 24 hours, the bulletin showed.
The UT reported no new deaths. The UT’s fatality count since the pandemic began last year stands at 809.
Meanwhile, the bulletin showed 7,09,180 people over 18 have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine so far. Of that number, 1,18,029 are fully vaccinated.
