Chandigarh reports 9 new Covid-19 cases

Chandigarh, July 8
Chandigarh on Thursday reported nine new cases of Covid-19 as the total number of cases recorded reached 61,794.
The number of active cases has come down to 100 as 13 patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.
As many as 1,683 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and 0.53 per cent of these were tested positive.
The death toll in the city remains 809.
The number of people who have been cured till date is 60,885.
As many as 4,78,584 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while 1,07,712 have got both the doses.
