Chandigarh reported only one new Covid case in the last 24 hours, a bulletin showed.

The UT has 35 active cases, with an average positivity rate of 0.20 per cent in the last seven days.

Chandigarh’s fatality count stands at 812.

Meanwhile, 7,29,822 people have got at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, of which 2,79,776 are fully vaccinated.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
