Chandigarh, August 19

Chandigarh on Thursday reported six cases of Covid-19, taking the UT’s total count to 62,051, according to a medical bulletin.

The death toll stood at 811.

The number of active cases in the city was 44 while the number of cured persons was 61,196. PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
