Chandigarh reported two new Covid-19 cases, a bulletin showed.

The UT has 36 active cases, with an average positivity rate of 0.17 per cent in the last seven days, a health bulletin from the administration showed.

Chandigarh’s fatality count stands at 812. Some 2,026 samples were tested over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7,29,822 people over 18 have got at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Of this number, 2,84,050 are fully vaccinated.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
