Chandigarh residents rally with 100-ft Tricolour to celebrate success of Operation Sindoor

The Sector 17 Plaza witnessed a wave of patriotism as citizens joined a mega rally celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor today.

Organised by Kartavyanishth Sanstha, the event featured a 100-foot-long National Flag carried by participants as chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” echoed across the plaza.

The rally was attended by Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, who urged the youth to stay devoted to the nation’s progress and unity.

Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar, Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and party’s city president Jitender Pal Malhotra attended the event.

Addressing the crowd, Chugh said “The success of Operation Sindoor is not just a military triumph, but a symbol of India’s resolve and sacrifice. Today, Chandigarh has set a patriotic example for the entire country.”
