Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, and MCM DAV College, Sector 36, won the Panjab University Inter College Boxing Championship for men and women, respectively.

In the men’s category, the Sector 26 team won the title by scoring 54.5 points. Goswami Ganesh Dutta (GGD) Sanatan Dharma (SD) College, Sector 32, bagged the second position with 33 points and Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, scored 7.5 points to win the third position.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
