Chandigarh: Sector 30 school win handball title

Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School (GNKSSS), Sector 30, won the gold medal in boys’ Under-17 category by defeating DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, on the concluding day of the Handball Tournament, organised by the

Sports Department, at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.

The team of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16, finished at the third position.

In the girls’ U-17 category, Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 56, won the first position by defeating the Sector 42 Coaching Centre.

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, finished at third position.

The Sector 30 school also won the boys’ U-19 gold medal by defeating the Sector 56 government school. Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 10, finished third.

PML SD Public School, Sector 32, defeated the A-team of Sector 42 Coaching Centre to win the girls’ Under -19 final.

The B-team of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23, Coaching Centre claimed the third position.
