Chandigarh: The city on Thursday reported 412 fresh Covid cases, taking the active caseload to 3,371, and three deaths. A 73-year-old woman from Sector 48, a case of coronary artery disease and septic shock, died at Shalby Hospital, Mohali. An 80-year-old man from Sector 51, who was suffering from severe acute respiratory infection, died at the GMCH-32. A 36-year-old woman from Maloya, a case of disseminated abdominal tuberculosis, died at the GMSH, Sector 16. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
