Chandigarh: The city on Tuesday reported 64 fresh cases of Covid, taking the UT tally to 19,615. With no new fatality, the toll remains 316. A total of 81 more patients have recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
