Chandigarh: The city reported 414 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths on Wednesday. The active case tally now stands at 6,570 and the toll at 656. As many as 870 more patients recovered from the virus. TNS

15 deaths, 603 new cases in Mohali

Mohali: Fifteen patients died while 603 more tested positive for Covid in the district. As many as 893 patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Among the new cases, 176 were from Mohali (urban), 111 from Kharar, 95 from Dera Bassi, 92 from Dhakoli, 46 from Gharuan, 34 from Boothgarh, 21 from Lalru, 15 from Banur and 13 from Kurali. The district Covid tally stands at 62,809 and the toll 801. As many as 53,941 patients have been cured. There are 8,067 active cases in the district. TNS

Four succumb, P’kula toll 300, 378 test ve

Panchkula: With four more persons succumbing to Covid in the past 24 hours, the district toll touched the 300 mark on Wednesday. Civil Surgeon Dr Jasjit Kaur said a 63-year-old woman from Pinjore, a 78-year-old man from Sector 6, a 78-year-old man from Sector 8 and a 74-year-old man from the MDC, Sector 5, died due to the disease. Meanwhile, 378 persons were diagnosed with Covid, taking the total number of positive cases to 28,455. So far, the district has reported 25,834 recoveries. There are 2,321 active cases with 300 deaths in the district. TNS
