In view of sharp increase in Covid-19 cases, the UT Administration has decided to set up a help desk at the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) for Covid-19 patients in home isolation.

The prime objective of the help desk is to have regular interaction with those Covid patients who have been advised home isolation and assist them in medical assistance, in case of any emergency.

Yashpal Garg, Chief Executive Officer, CHB, said the help desk would be functional round the clock from April 7. During the day time, it would operate from the CHB premises. Thereafter, officials would attend the calls from their residences.
