Chandigarh: Jewellery and cash have been from a house in Maloya. A woman reported that gold and silver jewellery items along with Rs 10,000 were stolen from her house. The police have registered a case and started investigation.

AC unit stolen from dispensary

Chandigarh: An air-conditioner unit has been stolen from a dispensary in Sector 42. Vikas Chadha reported that the theft took place on the night of September 20. The police have registered a case at the Sector 36 police station.

Mobile phone thief caught on camera

Chandigarh: A thief stole a mobile phone from a man who was sleeping outside a shop in Sector 37 early Sunday morning. According to sources, the incident occurred around 5 am while a worker of a shop was sleeping in the open. The thief cut the man’s pocket with a blade and stole the phone. A CCTV camera installed outside the shop captured the incident. The Sector 39 police have started investigation into the incident.
