Chandigarh: Dinesh Kumar of Sector 38 complained that he was duped of Rs 54.80 lakh in an online fraud relating to investment. Another complainant, Ravi Kumar, a resident of Sector 15, alleged that he was cheated out of Rs 25.32 lakh by an unidentified person. Separate cases have been registered at the cybercrime police station. TNS

Liver health camp tomorrow

Mohali: On the eve of World Hepatitis Day, the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences will organise a liver health camp on the OPD premises of the institute here on July 27 at 9 am. Institute Director Virendra Singh said the camp would offer services such as FibroScan, Hepatitis B and C screening, ultrasound abdomen and haepatology consultation. The insititute will also conduct a walkathon at Sukhna Lake on July 28 at 6 am to raise awareness on hepatitis, its prevention and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
