Batting first, Chandigarh posted 164 in 15 overs. Tanuj remained the main scorer with his 44-ball 79 run contribution, while opener Rudra Partap posted 39 off 18 balls. Jhujhar Sandhu contributed 24 off 10 balls that pushed the momentum firmly in Chandigarh’s favour.
In reply, Punjab managed to pull off a draw in the allotted slot. Chandigarh’s bowlers rose to the challenge, with Lakshay, Abhimanyu and Mukul each claiming two wickets while Kartavya also claiming a wicket.
Punjab set 11-run target in the Super Over, but the Chandigarh brigade displayed remarkable composure. With five runs needed off the final ball, Sandhu stepped forward with confidence and power, launching a clean six to secure the win.
