Congress activists gathered in front of a petrol pump in Sector 7 and went to government quarters and the sector market to distribute pamphlets highlighting inflation and difference in the prices of commodities during the Congress and BJP tenures.

Lucky said the BJP government was fleecing people as prices of all essential commodities increased manifold. The prices of petrol and diesel were increased by almost Rs40 in the past one year while the relief given was only Rs5 and Rs10, respectively, which was too little, too late, he added.
