During the night curfew, movement of individuals will remain strictly prohibited except for essential activities, including operation of industrial units in multiple shifts, movement of persons and goods on national and state highways, loading and unloading of cargo and travel of persons to their destinations after disembarking from buses, trains and airplanes.

The new guidelines will come into effect from tomorrow. Manoj Parida, UT Adviser, in his capacity as the chairman of the State Disaster Management Authority, issued the orders on adopting the MHA guidelines, which will remain in force in the city till July 31. As per the guidelines, schools, colleges and coaching institutions will remain closed till July 31. Cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places will continue to remain closed under Unlock 2.0.

There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods. No separate permission/approval/e-permit will be required for such movement.
