Local fencer Pranshi Arora brought laurels to the city by clinching a bronze medal in the individual foil event at the Khelo India Youth Games being held in Rajgir (Bihar).

In a thrilling semifinal bout against Manipur, Pranshi showcased tremendous grit and determination. Despite trailing 3-8 in the first round and 8-13 in the second, she made a remarkable comeback in the third round, levelling the score at 14-14. The golden point was fiercely contested, and Pranshi narrowly lost the final point, ending the match at 15-14.
