Batting first, Tripura managed to score 150 runs in 47 overs with skipper Ambesha Das (41) as the top scorer. Chandigarh’s bowlers dominated, with Pushpa Bishnoi (3/37) and Ishana Chadha (3/24) leading the attack. Chasing 151, skipper Aaradhana Bisht played a match-winning knock of 86 off 136 balls, steering the team to victory at the loss of five wickets in 47.4 overs. Earlier, the girls suffered their second consecutive defeat against Rajasthan by 99 runs. Batting first, Rajasthan posted a formidable 260/8 in 50 overs wherein skipper AD Garg scored 100 off 107 balls. JD Choudhary (55), CO Bhati (43) and Diksha Saini (23) were the other main scorers for the side.
Nandani Sharma (3/35) claimed maximum wickets for the bowling side, while Smarya Thakur picked one. In reply, Chandigarh was bowled out for 161 in 49.5 overs. Despite notable contributions from Smayra Thakur (44), Nandani Sharma (40) and Sarah (32), Chandigarh failed to deliver result. Rajasthan’s disciplined bowling attack sealed the victory.
