The residents said when slum-dwellers were rehabilitated by spending public money, why two lakh CHB residents who had spent their hard-earned money to provide shelter to their growing families were being meted out a heartless treatment by razing their shelters or cancelling the ownership. The demolition of their houses and the cancellation of the ownership of these people should be immediately stopped, they said.
