UT Chief Secretary H Rajesh Prasad on Monday administered the ‘integrity pledge’ to staff at the Secretariat in Sector 9 on the first day of Vigilance Awareness Week, which is being observed on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”.

The event is a national initiative organised by the Central Vigilance Commission. It serves as an important outreach measure to raise public awareness about the necessity of ethics and transparency in governance and public administration.

The officers and staff of the UT Administration took the integrity pledge to be vigilant and commit to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption.

All citizens are encouraged to take the pledge by visiting the Central Vigilance Commission’s website at http://www.cvc.gov.in.

Meanwhile, MC Commissioner Amit Kumar administered the ‘integrity pledge’ to the civic body staff today.
