Prasad today chaired a meeting to assess the performance and progress of major projects and reforms in government and aided colleges, as well as higher and technical education institutions in Chandigarh.
The Chief Secretary reiterated the Administration’s commitment to providing quality education, introducing employment-oriented and new-age courses, strengthening the Skill Development Department and ensuring convergence of all skilling schemes.
Education Secretary Prerna Puri and Higher Education Director Rubinderjit Singh Brar gave a comprehensive overview of the status of Higher and Technical Education in Chandigarh, , highlighting institutional numbers, enrolment, etc.
