Attendants of a patient created ruckus at the Civil Hospital, Phase 6, here, after a four-month-old child, Saudagar, died during treatment here this morning.

The child’s maternal grandfather Jatinder Goswami, a native of Bihar, alleged that doctors administered a wrong injection to the child due to which he died.

HS Cheema, SMO, Phase 6 Civil Hospital, said: “The child’s condition was not good when he was brought to the hospital. The patient was taken to the PGI earlier from where he was sent home. When his condition deteriorated, he was brought here. The police reached the spot and pacified the protesters.
