The girls team of Chitkara International School, Sector 25, recorded a 10-4 win over St Mary’s School, Sector 46, to move into the semifinal of the 21st St Xavier’s Inter School Basketball Trophy. Alisha scored four four points for the winning side, while Maani gathered the same number of points for the Sector 46 squad.

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS High Grounds stunned Saupin’s School, Sector 32, with a 30-20 verdict.

Seerat Sidhu Brar alone gathered 16 points for the winning side, Ritika Ranjan netted nine.

Navya Sharma, meanwhile, contributed 10 points for the Sector 32, while Avanitka Thakur contributed four for the losing side. The host team of St Xavier’s team ousted Ashmah International, Mohali, 16-6 as Tanya (6 points) and Anika (4 points) scored major points. For Mohali, Priya, Gurleen and Jessica contributed two points each.

St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, humbled St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44. The side posted 29-12 win with Enaya contributing 16 points.
