The engineering wing of the Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation Limited (CITCO) has started upgrading infrastructure at its properties to enhance safety, efficiency, and guest experience.

Two 400 KVA DG sets will be installed at Hotel Mountview, Sector 10. The glass capsule lift is being repaired. Additionally, two glass lifts will be replaced. The augmentation of the fire alarm and firefighting system had also been approved, with tenders invited for consultant appointments, said a spokesperson.

At Hotel Shivalikview, Sector 17, technical sanction has been given for the installation of two 400 KVA DG sets. Both hotels will also get baggage scanners.

Fire alarm and firefighting systems are being upgraded at Hotel Parkview in Sector 24. Nod has also been received for the installation of a sewage and effluent treatment plant.
