To commemorate the completion of seven years of the BJP government at the Centre, the local unit today performed community service at 310 places in the city.

Party spokesman Kailash Chand Jain said all office-bearers and others provided their services.

BJP workers distributed fruits, biscuits, juices, dry ration, food, indigenous ghee, milk, lassi, herbs, immunity boosters, sanitisers, Chyawanprash, zinc and Vitamin C among the needy people.

Sanitation campaigns were also conducted at several places and people were encouraged to get vaccinated against Covid.

Services were also offered at orphanages, old-age homes, ‘snehalaya’, homes for mentally retarded, leprosy ashrams, ashrams for destitute people, slum and EWS colonies.

State president Arun Sood also performed services at several places. Organisation secretary Dinesh Kumar also participated in the service work. Sanitisers, masks and fruits were distributed among people at Sanjay Colony.

Mayor Ravi Kant Sharma also participated in a cleanliness drive at Ward No. 3.

‘Halva’, fruits, sanitisers, masks and Chyawanprash were also distributed at 22 villages.

General Secretary Chandrashekhar helped in distributing ration under the DBT scheme.
