Simran, Alisson and Anu Sehgal claimed the top three positions in the 1.4-km Timed Kettlebell Walk at the 1st Chandigarh Kettlebell Walkathon held at Sukhna Lake.

The event was organised by Kettlebell Sport Gold Medallist (Asia-Pacific) Neha Sood and ultra runner Heena Tandon.

In the men’s category, Sumit Kumar won gold medal, followed by Jayant Negi at the second position and Roopinder Bhatia at third.

Many people also participated in a fun 2.2km non-timed walk.

The participants walked with a kettlebell in one hand. It challenged their grip strength, core stability and shoulder stability, thereby making it perfect combination of endurance and strength.
