Chandigarh: City lads defeated IBSSO by five wickets to enter the quarterfinal of the 65th National U-17 Cricket Championship, at Daman & Diu. Batting first, IBSSO boys were bowled out for 73 runs all out in 18.2 overs. Deep Marwadi (16), Pranav Varma (14) and Ganguly Nandan (10) were the main scorers for the side. Sohail (5/14) claimed a five-wicket haul, while Ansh khosla (2/23), Paras (1/4), Nishunk Birla (1/12) and Jashan Beniwal (1/13) were the other main wicket takers for the side. In reply, Chandigarh lads posted 74/5 in 7.3.overs with the help of Bhavesh Saini (15), Beniwal (13) and Prince Upadhyay (10). Pancham Salil (2/14), Lugman (2/11) and Arav Adikesh (1/17) claimed wickets for the bowling side. TNS
