chandigarh: The city on Thursday reported one new Covid-19 case, taking the case tally to 65,295. The death toll remained at 820. The number of active cases has fallen to 32 as six more patients were cured of the disease in the past 24 hours. —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
