Chandigarh’s Ishroop Narang selected for world championship

Chandigarh’s Ishroop Narang will represent India in the Senior World Judo Championship-2025 from June 13 to 19 to be held in Budapest, Hungary. She has qualified for this world championship on the basis of her recent international performances in this session.

Ishroop is pursuing bachelors in arts at the MCM DAV College, Sector 36. She has been trained by city judo coach Vivek Thakur at the sports complex in Sector 34, Chandigarh. Thakur said that he was expecting Ishroop to qualify for the 2028 LA Olympic Games if she kept performing like this.
