Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud will award degrees during the 37th convocation of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research to be held at Bhargava Auditorium on the hospital campus here on August 10. As many as 520 post-graduate and doctorate degrees of MD, MCh, PhD, MS and MPH will be presented to the students of the 2022 and 2023 batches.
“The CJI will reach the convocation venue by 10 am and address students. A full-dress rehearsal will be held on August 9,” said a senior official of the PGI.
Sources said students would wear black gown, as the authorities couldn’t decide on introducing traditional attire due to shortage of time.
