Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ajay Kumar Ghanghas visited the Bal Sadan in Sector 12 to review the living conditions and care provided to the girls at the Child Care Institution.

During the visit, Ghanghas interacted with the six girls residing at Bal Sadan, addressing their concerns and ensuring their basic needs were being met.

He further inspected the hygiene and sanitation standards, expressing satisfaction with the efforts to maintain a clean and safe environment.

During his visit, the CJM emphasized upon the need to uphold high hygiene standards for the children’s overall well-being.

Renu Mathur, counsellor at the Bal Sadan, meanwhile, briefed Ghanghas on the daily routines, counselling sessions, and initiatives aimed at the children’s holistic development.

The visit coincided with Lohri festival preparations, and Ghanghas encouraged the children to participate in cultural celebrations, fostering happiness and unity. He later extended Lohri greetings to the children and staff, commending the management for providing a nurturing environment.

The CJM assured continued support from the District Legal Services Authority in addressing challenges faced by the institution and its residents.
