The horticulture division of Panjab University organised “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” today.

Anil Thakur, Divisional Engineer (H), along with his staff and workers, carried out the cleanliness drive from Gate No. 1 to Gate No. 2. As many as four trolleys of waste were removed from the university campus. Flowerbeds at Gate No. 1 and 2 were replenished to beautify the entrance of the university campus. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
