A cluster-level Kala Utsav for Cluster No. 2 was organised at Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 10A. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents in categories like instrumental music, vocal music, traditional storytelling, theatre and dance.

The students from various schools in the cluster enthusiastically participated in the event, impressing the audience and the panel of judges with their creativity, skill and dedication.

The performances highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India. The winners of the event will proceed to the next level of the Kala Utsav competition. Principal Jasmine Josh emphasised the importance of nurturing young talent and promoting cultural values in education.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
