College notes: Desh Bhagat University

The department of Performing Art and Media at the Desh Bhagat University celebrated the New Year by organising a Shri Sukhmani Sahib path. The event was held to seek divine blessings for peace, harmony and success as the institution embarks on another year of academic and artistic achievement.

Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran, the department of Computer Science Engineering's Gagan Deep Jindal has been conferred with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) "Best Teacher Award 2024". The award ceremony, held at Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering & Technology, Punjab (BGIET) Sangrur, recognised Jindal's contributions to technical education and research.

Aryans Group of Colleges

Aryans Group of Colleges expressed grief at the passing of the former Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh. The students, faculty and staff members held a one-minute silence to remember Dr Manmohan Singh. Dr Anshu Kataria, chairperson, Aryans Group, said Singh was a great mentor, academician, economist and Indian politician.
