As part of its signature campaign “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod”, the Minority Department of the city Congress organised a programme to hand over the signatures of 5,500 citizens to HS Lucky, president of the Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee.

Lucky said so far, the Congress has collected over 50,000 signatures from residents of Chandigarh, and the target of 1,00,000 signatures will be achieved in the coming days.

Asif Chaudhary, chairman of the Minority Department, said the huge signature collection showed that the citizens have become aware of the BJP’s false promises.
