An effigy of state Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring was burnt in protest over his recent remarks on former Union Home Minister Buta Singh.

State AAP general secretary and Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board chairman SS Ahluwalia led Mohali residents as they burnt the effigy near Airport Chowk, Aerocity.

Ahluwalia condemned the statement made by Warring in Tarn Taran. The AAP leader saying that such a disgraceful comment reflected the mindset of Congress leaders towards the nation and the Dalit community. He said by making such remarks, Congress leaders were attempting to divide the country.
