Congress leader Pawan Sharma said the Modi government had become the government of the rich only.

Congress spokesperson Harmail Kesri said after wrong decisions such as demonetisation, people would respond to this pernicious government.

He claimed that when the crude oil prices were $144 per barrel in the international market during the UPA regime, petrol prices never exceeded Rs70 per litre. When crude oil prices were $70 per barrel during the BJP government, petrol prices were touching Rs100 per litre.
