Kamal Kant Sharma has been removed as a director of Chandigarh State Co-operative Bank.
The former chairman of the bank failed to attend three consecutive board meetings without providing any explanation leading to his removal from the Board of Directors.

Anuradha S Chagti, Managing Director of the bank, informed the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Chandigarh, that three Board meetings were convened this year, and all directors, including Sharma, were duly notified.
The Registrar issued an order for his removal from the Board, citing a clear violation of the bank’s bylaws.
